On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. (“CEMEX”) (NYSE: CX) informed the Mexican Stock Exchange that the securities class action complaint filed on March 16, 2018, and amended in August 1, 2019, against CEMEX, certain of its officers and/or directors, and one of CEMEX’s partially-owned subsidiaries, CEMEX Latam Holdings, S.A., in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired securities of CEMEX between April 25, 2015 to March 13, 2018, inclusive, has been dismissed with prejudice. We continue to deny liability and, if required, intend to vigorously defend the case.
